Reviewing Toronto’s Bubble Tea Festival 2018

BBTF 2018Toronto’s bubble tea culture is as bumping as ever, and when I was surprisingly taken to the Toronto Bubble Tea Festival, hosted by Gorilla Management, I was way too stoked. With things like Taste of Danforth, Kensington Krawl, Taco Fest, and Taste of Toronto, Toronto has no shortage of quality summer events. It’s safe to say we expect nothing but the best when it comes to our festivals.

The Toronto Bubble Tea Festival was pegged as an event filled with games, shows, and music, when in reality it was simply a bunch of bubble tea stands out in the middle of the Canary District. Also, at the time of filming and reviewing, none of the major bubble tea shops were there – Chatime, Tea Shop 168, Real Fruit.

Honestly, it’s a bit of a shame that it isn’t as exciting as some of the other festivals we have going on in Toronto during the summer. There’s always next year though! Check out the vlog below for a full, in living colour, review.
